Woman Injured

A local attorney's office is seeking help from the public in locating people who may have witnessed an incident where an elderly woman was seriously injured.

Attorney Angela Lallemont says the 96-year-old woman was walking near the K-Mart store on Thursday, May 17th, about 2:00 p.m. when she was struck by a canopy-tent which flew through the air.

The woman sustained a serious brain injury, according to Lallemont, and was hospitalized. She is currently still receiving medical assistance.

Efforts to locate witnesses who were present at the time of the incident have been unsuccessful.

If you know of anyone who may have witnessed the incident you are asked to call Angela at the Price-McCluer-Plachecki Law Office at 452-3341.
