A 24 year old Winona man was jailed early Friday on drug charges.
Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said Devin Bryson was initially charged with fifth degree possession of a controlled substance, fleeing on foot, obstruction, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Williams said Bryson is alleged to have fled a patrolling officer who tried to question why Bryson was walking out of an alley just after 3:00 a.m. When the officer caught Bryson the officer discovered a small vial that contained a powder the field tested positive for cocaine.
The case was turned over to the county attorney's office for determination of formal charges against Bryson.
