A 32-year-old Winona man is facing felony first degree burglary, two assault counts and violation of an order for protection.
                   
Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said Joseph Martin allegedly entered a 32-year-old woman's residence about 1:00 a.m. on Saturday and she woke up to find him in her bed.

The two had an argument earlier in the evening.

Martin allegedly punched her in the head and face.

He denied he was involved in a physical alteration with the woman, but officers discovered a fresh bruise on her forehead and
some scratches.
