Student Death--WSHS



The Winona Area Public School District says school counselors, school psychologists and other professionals are being made available for Winona Senior High School students following the death of a student.
                  
The district says school personnel were informed that a 16 year old boy student passed away this week at his home.  The professionals are being made available to meet with students individually and in groups over the next few weeks as needed.
                   
The school district says it will also be hosting a meeting for parents and others in the community in the near future, Winona High is working on securing community professionals who will be present to provide information about common reactions following a death.
                   
A meeting announcement on the day, time. and location will be forthcoming.  No details about the student were released.
