The Winona County Sheriff's Department is looking for the owner of two horses which were found loose in Wiscoy Township.
Sheriff Dave Brand said the two tame horses were located about 10:00 p.m. Monday along County Road 19 about three to four miles south of Interstate 90. They are described as "paint" horses by Brand, meaning they have two colors. One had a halter on it the other did not.
Brand said authorities were unable to locate the owner. The horses are being kept at a safe location until their owner is found. Anyone with information about the owner or the horses is asked to call the Law Enforcement Center.
