Openings remain in the 3rd Annual Big Muddy Run on Saturday, October 6th at La Crosse's Myrick Park.
           
Participants can choose a 5k or 1 mile route, each with obstacles, mud pits.

The Big Muddy Run is a unique annual event to raise funds for the Children's Museum of La Crosse, which receives no government or United Way support and maintains affordable access for the public.  
  
The Big Muddy Run is open to runners, age 7 and above, of all skill levels. Kids age 7-10 must be accompanied by a paid adult. Awards will be given to the top three individual male and female runners by age category.

Participants will get a long-sleeved t-shirt and a drawstring bag with an Oktoberfest button and other goodies.

Register online at www.bigmuddyrun.org, at the Museum or at Myrick Park on October 6th starting at 9:30 am. The 1 mile run will start at 10:45, and the 5k will start at 11:30. Awards will be presented at approximately 12:30.
