Stone Point Park and Gardens
Winona County is announcing a Public Open House, and requesting public input, on a draft of a Conceptual Master Plan that has been developed for the county's newest park.
Named Stone Point Park and Gardens, the park is 400 acres of rolling ridges and hillside, located in Wilson Township
The Open House is set for Monday evening, October 15th, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. at the Winona County History Center, 160 Johnson Street. Short presentations will be given at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm; and public comment will be accepted throughout the Open House and via email.
Beforehand, on Saturday, October 13th, a public tour of Stone Point Park will be held, from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Located at the end of Stone Point Road, which intersects Hwy 43 just above the quarry, the park will be open for the public to view the lands and review the draft plan and maps.
The proposed Master Plan, which will guide public use of the property in the future, is available on the county website - www.co.winona.mn.us.
