Winona County will host an open house Saturday at its new Stone Point Park located at the once and former county landfill site along Highway 43 behind Sugar Loaf.
                   
The park is 400 acres of rolling ridges and hillside, located in Wilson Township  Public tours of the park will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
                    
An open house is set for Monday evening, October 15th, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. at the Winona County History Center. Short presentations will be given at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm; and public comments on the park's proposed draft master plan will be taken.
                   
The master plan, which will guide public use of the property in the future, is available on the county website - www.co.winona.mn.us
