The project advisory commitee for the Highway 43 bridge project in Winona will meet next week to be updated on the project.
The group of local statkeholders will meet at the Tandeski Center on the Southeast Tech campus at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12th.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation will provide an update on the environmental study for the project and discuss design developments.
Last month Minn-DOT revealed it will pursue a two-bridge project that includes rehabbing the existing bridge and constructing a new one alongside it.
The project is slated to begin in 2015.
Also on the agenda is a discussion about the approach to the two bridges which will be in front of the Winona Family YMCA...plus a discussion of the process for MinnDOT to obtain the consent on the proposed design from the Winona City Council before the project can begin..
