Police Sargent Chris Nelson said nine of the ten were cited with felony counts of suspicion of third degree sale of a controlled substance. The tenth was charged with second degree sale of a controlled substance.
The sales were all controlled buys made by confidential reliable informants. Nelson said the operation started about 2:00 p.m. Tuesday and ended just after midnight Wednesday.
The investigation was conducted by the Southeastern Minnesota Narcotics and Gang Strike Force. All of the cases have been referred to the Winona County attorney's office for investigation of possible formal charges against the ten...eight males and two females.
The nine accused of third degree controlled substance sales were identified as: 35-year-old Jason Lee Peterson...32-year-old Joseph Simmons...43-year-old Paula Rae Stolpa...38-year-old Sean Fenske...48-year-old Harold Skroch...50-year-old Randy James Larson...54-year-old Rodney Lee Williams... 45-year-old Timothy Palubicki...and 52-year-old Frederick Mack Junior.
The one person charged with a second degree controlled substance sale was 32-year-old Brittany Kalmes.
