The Minnesota State Patrol said the northbound right lane of Highway 61 near La Moille was reopened after cashes involving several vehicles caused it to be shut down. The lane was reported at 9:20 a.m. after being closed at 8:30 a.m. Winona County Sheriff Dave Brand said at least one of the vehicles ended up in the median and three people inside made it out safely. The crashes occurred when light snow was falling. No injuries were reported. The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to continue to drive with caution in that area.
