The Levee Park Committee held a public open house at the Winona History Center Monday to get resident's views on a plan for the future of Levee Park.
Committee Vice- Chairman, Eric Sorenson, says any future plans for the levee must include public input.
Sorenson says the city won't be able to fund the levee park project on it's own, so the committee is exploring grant opportunities and private donations.
Nearly 100 people attended the first of two 20 minute formal presentations at 5:00 p.m. People were then able to get a close up look on their own at the vision documents on tables downstairs where Committee members staffed the tables and answered questions.
People who attended were also encouraged to leave comments when they left.
