Pickwick Shooting-Update

Authorities say a person of interest in the shooting death of 72-year-old Mickey Ellenbecker on March 8th, will be interviewed again this week as they continue their investigation.

Sheriff Dave Brand said the 64-year-old male will be re-interviewed this coming weekend as the nearly one-month-long investigation continues.
Authorities are not calling the shooting either a homicide or a suicide.

An autopsy showed Ellenbecker died from a bullet wound in the back of the head fired from his own 22-caliber revolver.

Investigators have been back at the Pickwick-area home trying to confirm some of the person of interest's earlier statements. The man was in the home at the time of the shooting.

The man is not being held in custody.
