Police Office in School



The Whitehall, Wisconsin school board has approved a move by the Whitehall Police Department into the district's high school.

The Trempealeau County Times reports the police department gets the use of of their school office 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and the use of garage space.

In exchange, the district gets the use of the Whitehall City Center gymnasium at no cost. The district had been paying a $2,900 a year fee for the use of the gym previously.

The police department will occupy their new space at the high school on July First.
