With one week left to go the Great River Shakespeare Festival hopes to set a new all-time attendance record.
Marketing Director Emily Kurash only 1,200 more people need to attend the final performances this week for a new record to be set.
Kurash says in addition to the final eight performances of the Skakespeare plays a number of special events will be held this week including an opprtunity to purchase some of the props that were used in the performances of the Merry Wives of Windsor".
Information on the weeks events and tickets for the final performances are available on the festival's website at GRSF.org.
The festival will wrap up its 12th season next Sunday at Winona State University.
