Drug Bust

Authorities said a 25-year-old Rochester man was arrested outside a storage unit in Minnesota City Wednesday morning after authorities had discovered drugs inside the unit two days earlier.

Chief Deputy Ron Ganrude said a search warrant was used to gain entry Monday to the storage unit located along Wenonah Road and both synthetic drugs and halucagenetic mushrooms were found inside.

A deputy on patrol Wednesday spotted two vehicles parked near the storage unit and apprehended Tyler Eldridge.

Ganrude said Eldridge was in possession of methamphetamine at the time and other drugs and paraphernalia were found inside his vehicle.

Eldridge was cited with felony possession of synthetic drugs and possession of meth.

He was jailed pending a court appearance.

The Sheriff's Department was assisted by the Southeastern Minnesota Narcotics and Gang Task Force in conducting the initial search of the storage unit.
