The Buffalo County Finance Committee sent resolutions to the county board for 2017 employee pay increases.
Pay for non-represented personnel would go up point-67 percent under a proposal passed by the county's human resources committee.
Proposed pay scales and step increases for sheriff's department communication/correction officers was going to be treated in a separate resolution.
A negotiated contract settlement with union deputies employed in the sheriff's department also was scheduled for county board action.
In other labor matters, cost of employee health insurance coverage will go up 6.5 percent for 2017. The insurance carrier is GHT/WCA Group Health Trust.
