Home Sales

Wisconsin's housing market was described as robust in November with strong gains in home sales and prices.

The Wisconsin Realtor's Association said the state's housing market heated up while inventories of houses for sale tightened.

Sales were up 19 percent compared to November 2015, setting a sales record for the month, while median prices also gained.

The median sales price statewide in November grew 8.3 percent to $162,400, compared to $132,500 in Pepin County and $178,000 in Trempealeau County. Pricing in Buffalo County was not available.

Trempealeau County had 15 housing sales in November, Pepin County had 11 and Buffalo County had 9.

Sales were up in all 3 counties compared to November of 2015, mostly in Trempealeau County where housing sales more than doubled, WRA said.
