Two Winona residents are facing felony criminal charges in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a minor.
Charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct was 35-year-old Kevin Dale Sultze. Being referred to the county attorney's office for recommended first degree criminal sexual conduct was 36-year-old Nicole Marie Pearson. Both were jailed.
Sheriff Ron Ganrude said the arrests followed a monthlong investigation by his department that involved interviews with a juvenile victim in the Twin Cities. Sultze was charged Monday and Pearson was arrested Monday on a warrant following a traffic stop.
