The establishment of a Winona County Jail Advisory Board will be the topic of discussion by Winona County commissioners when they meet on Tuesday September 12th.
So far, 20 of the 24 positions on the proposed board have been filled with four left to go. The board will be made up of a combination of people from the community and county and city government.
The county board will also hear an update on the Toward Zero Deaths program in the county.
The regular meeting at the county government center is at 9:00 a.m. with a special work session to follow. Both are open to the public.
