A Winona man has been charged with several drug crimes, and was caught when police set up controlled buys by informants this past spring.
36-year-old Courtney Michael Hall of Winona, is being charged in Winona County for controlled substance crimes in the second degree, controlled substance crime in the third degree and controlled substance crime in the fifth degree. The charges carry maximum sentences of 25, 20 and 5 years respectively.
In three separate instances this past May, Hall allegedly sold marijuana and methamphetamine to an informant who was wearing recording devices and under surveillance by the police.
In one of the instances, they met in a parking lot close enough to Lake Park to be included in the park zone, which upgraded the charges from third to second degree controlled substance crimes.
