Local residents are being asked to have some patience when it comes to Governor Mark Dayton's proposed budget released Tuesday.  Representative Gene Pelowski says the first word on the budget will not be the final word.
               
Pelowski says it will take awhile for lawmakers to digest the proposal, calling for significant increases in both spending and revenue..something lawmakers have not seen from the governor's office in many years.  Pelowski says he hopes the $1.1 billion budget deficit will be fixed first before lawmakers consider new spending.
