Three candidates tossed their hats into the ring to run for Winona mayor early today Tuesday on the first day candidates could file for the November election.
Entering their names were Fourth Ward Councilman George Borzykowski, At-Large councilwoman Debbie White, and Mark Peterson the executive director of the Winona County Historical Society.
White is also up for re-election to her at-large seat this year. Also filing for re-election was First Ward Incumbent Councilman Al Thurley. Third Ward councilwoman Deb Salyards is also up for re-election.
Mayor Jerry Miller announced earlier he will not seek re-election. Filings close on June 5th.
