Cold Case

Wabasha Police Chief Jim Warren has formed a cold case unit to review a 24-year-old case in the disappearance of a Wabasha woman.

25-year-old Donna Ingersoll disappeared from her Wabasha apartment on December 16th, 1990 and was never found.

The Post-Bulletin reports Warren began an investigation when he became sheriff two years ago. Previous Sheriff Dave Kruger had retired.

A nine-member cold case team began meeting a few months ago and recently the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has become involved.

A national missing persons group has also been asked to help out.
