Copper Theft



Two people from Faribault are alleged to have stolen $2,000 worth of copper wire.
               
KTTC.com reports 33-year old Michael Thanghe and 24-year old Amber Janovski were arrested Monday evening after allegedly stealing more than 150 feet of copper wire from a substation of People's Cooperative Services.

The electric substation is located at the intersection of Highway 14 and 140th Avenue Southeast near Eyota.

Both Thanghe and Janovski have been identified in thefts in Lakeville that also involved copper wire.
