Corn in Wisconsin was selling for an average $6.20 per bushel in June, three cents higher than in May. It was $6.25 nationally. Soybeans were bringing an average $13.70 per bushel, up $1.30 from a year ago.
Alfalfa hay was selling for $135 per ton, $35 more than a year ago, and other hay was bringing $95 a ton.
June milk prices averaged $17.10 per hundred pounds produced and sold by dairy farmers in Wisconsin, the USDA said. The price was up a dime from May and was $1.90 less than a year ago. The national average June milk price was $16.10, a dollar less than Wisconsin.
Average milk price in Minnesota was $17.40. The price was $14.70 in California, lowest in the country.
