Cotter Blood Drive

Cotter High School is being cited for a successful blood drive at the school on February 26th.

The local American Red Cross chapter says the most successful drive in the school's history collected 77 units of blood.

There was a waiting list for people to donate. The success of the blood drive, which was planned by the Cotter High Student Council, was due to a successful phone bank operation to schedule donors.

Red Cross Executive Director Marie Barrientos issued her congratulations for the the successful results.
