Cotter High School has hired Jamie Herrick as its new football coach. Herrick has been a part of the Cotter football program for several years as an assistant coach and is regarded highly by the other coaches and players. He is coming to Cotter in a full-time capacity as the Activities Coordinator working with new Cotter Activities Director Travis Whipple. Herrick has also been a college coach with experience as an assistant coach with UW-River Falls and UW-Stevens Point. He takes over a program that went 1-8 under coaches Bruce Carpenter and Seth Haun.
