County Board

The Winona County Board of Commissioners will continue to address two ongoing issues when the board meets Tuesday.

During a committee of the board meeting a discussion will continue on the possibility of having the county's home health services transferred to a non-profit or private organization. The county is also considering the possible sale of the services along with the county's Medicare certification.

In addition, the board will hear an update on the possible regional design of Human Services involving 12 southeastern Minnesota counties who have been researching the issue.

During the board's regular meeting which comes first, the board will be asked to approve a proclamation for St. Mary's University's centennial year.  The regular meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. at the County Government Center.
