County Planning Commission Vacancy

The Winona County Board of Commissioners says it wants to fill a vacancy on the County Planning Commission by early November.
The vacancy was created by the resignation of Arland Otte.

Board members decided, on a unanimous 5-to-0 vote, to advertise for someone to fill the vacant seat on a temporary basis until the first of the year. That's because Otte's term expires at the end of 2013.

The board will then consider permanent appointments to the planning commission in December for Otte's position, and other seats that will also become vacant when other terms run out.

Those who applied for the planning commission in December of 2012 will be asked if they are still interested in serving, and if they wish to make any changes or additions to their previous applications. New applications will also be accepted.
