Winona County Board members have given the county a good review when it comes to strengths and efficiencies in programs and services, but they also said there is room for improvement.
During a strategic planning session, board members reviewed a survey they took and County Administrator Duane Hebert says they pointed out a lot of positives.
Hebert said the survey examined strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and the results showed the county's vision and missions are very good.
He also said it will take a while before the county can get back to where it was in the late 1990s because times are different now.
Overall, board members gave the county good marks when it comes to how well services are being provided and providing those services in an efficient manner. They also said there is room for improvement
