Crop Management Tour

Crop producers, agribusiness personnel and others interested in crop production in southern Minnesota are invited to the annual University of Minnesota "Crop Management Tour" being held in Rochester on Tuesday.

The tour will take place at the field site located east of University Center on County Road 22 (East Circle Drive) at the intersection of Highway 14 east.         

Registration is free and begins at 8:30; the tour will begin at 9:00 a.m. discussing and viewing new technologies in weed management and the tours run until 12:30 pm.

Topics discussed include: what's new in sprayer technology; are you implementing more than a herbicide based system to prevent resistant weeds and do you have enough diversity on your farm and new crop technology systems and see what's new in weed management.
