The 9th Annual Great Dakota Gathering and Homecoming is coming up in Winona September 14th through the 16th, and there is a need for volunteers to help out.
                
The event will be held in Unity Park located at the east end of Lake Winona and this year it will commemorate the Dakota Conflict of 1862 which took place 150 years ago.        
               
Volunteers are needed for a number of events including Youth Education Day, Information and T-Shirt Sales, Button Sales for Meals, and Clean-up.  If you are interested in helping out contact President and Volunteer Coordinator Debbie White at 454-4417.
