Teachers in all disciplines are invited to attend a free workshop this Saturday, March 2nd, from 8am - Noon at Whitewater State Park.
The workshops are designed to provide teachers and others who work with children the skills to incorporate digital nature photography into their programs and to provide free access to necessary equipment.
Those who attend this workshop will learn how to use student digital photos with WEB 2.0 applications as well as a variety of ways to tie digital photography experiences to state education standards. Participants will have free access to digital cameras and field guides for their students to use. This workshop is worth 4 Continuing Education Units.
The workshop is free but all vehicles entering the park must have a valid Minnesota State Park vehicle permit. Permits can be purchased at the Whitewater State Park office for a $5 daily pass.
