Dretske--Global Citizen Scholarship

A Winona Senior High School student has been chosen as one of 20 students from the United State to attend the Global Student Leaders Summit in Costa Rica in April.

Calvin Dretske, along with the 19 others, will take part in the April First to the 20th event that is designed to unite high school students from around the world by breaking down barriers of culture, language and geography. The tour is sponsored by an organization called Education First.

Dretske took part in a 2012 Education First trip to Italy and Greece put together by his instructor Dwayne Voegli. He applied for the 2013 Global Citizen Scholar Award after that trip. Calvin is the son of Ray and Connie Dretske.
