Two of the founders of Winona's Fastenal Company will step down from the firm's board of directors next month.
Board Chairman Bob Kierlin and Steve Slaggie will retire when Fastenal holds its annual meeting on Tuesday, April 22nd, at 10:00 a.m.
That will leave only one of the original five founders of the company, Michael Gostomski on the board.
Fastenal's current president and C-E-O, Will Oberton, will assume
the role of board chairman.
Both Kierlin and Slaggie have reached the mandatory retirement age of 75.
Eight other members of the board of directors will be up for re-election.
Fastenal was founded in Winona in 1967 and since then has grown into an international company with over 26-hundred retail stores.
