Time to dust off your running shoes again because the 35th Annual Fools Five Road Race in Lewiston is right around the corner.

The race will take place Sunday, April 7th and you can register and donate online at www.foolsfive.org. This year's events include guest speaker, Gabriele Anderson, an Olympic Trials finalist and a two time cancer survivor.

There will also be a bone marrow donor registration drive at the event.

The silent/live auction will be held on Friday, April 5th at the Lewiston Community Center. Doors open at 4:30pm.

Fools Five is an 8K race (4.97 miles), as well as a 1 mile race. Walkers and wheelchairs are welcome in both distances and participants are encouraged, but not required, to raise pledges.

Since its inception in 1979, the event has raised over $1,600,000 in cancer research funding.
