By Jason Melillo Jun 13, 2023 | 8:20 AM

(KWNO)-All children ages 18 and under in Winona can receive free meals this summer. It’s a program through Winona Area Public Schools. Food will be served at locations in Winona and Goodview. Part of the program is the return of the Summer Lunch Bus.

The bus will be at the Bob Welch Aquatic Center during the week from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meals will also be served at the East End Recreation Center on Mondays and Wednesdays and at Sinclair Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as other locations.

Meal service started yesterday and runs through August 10. USDA regulations state that meals must be eaten on site. The free meals are available to all children ages 18 and under in Winona, regardless of if they attend a WAPS school. For menus, locations and other information go to winonaschools.org.
