The Winona County Attorney's Office says a Winona man is serving 150 days in jail after a jury found him guilty of electronic solicitation of a child.
Dennis Wilbur Goetz had been accused of communicating on Facebook in April and May of 2012 with a female he thought was between the ages of 14 and 15.
Turned out the other person was an officer with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
A news release said Goetz had explicit sexual chats with the so-called female and asked the girl about places they could meet that would be private. When he actually met with the person, it turned out to be the task force officer.
The release said Judge Nancy Buytendorp stayed the execution of a prison sentence and ordered Goetz to have no contact with anyone under the age of 18.
