Goodview received a $283,000 federal "Safe Rides to School" grant in August of 2011, and will use the funds to install sidewalks along 44th Avenue, 8th Street, and 51st Avenue near the elementary school. The city engineer's recommended design for the project will be presented at the public meeting at the Goodview School at 6:30 p.m. January 30th.
The public can review the the preliminary design documents prior to the meeting. They are at the Goodview office and will be available between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day. If you can't attend the meeting you can submit written comments to the city office before 3:00 p.m. on January 30th.
