Two Republican lawmakers will host a Town Hall meeting in Goodview this coming Monday June 5th.
On hand at the Goodview City Office at 7:00 p.m. will be Representative Steve Drazkowski and Senator Mike Goggin who will discuss the just finished legislative session.
One question they will be asked is if Goodview will be getting the funds it requested for the establishment of a whistle free zone along the Canadian Pacific railroad tracks in the city and at the 44th Avenue crossing.
Goodview had been seeking some $300,000 for the project. City Administrator Dan Matejka says he did not think the funding was in the 988-million dollar bonding bill signed by Governor Mark Dayton.
