(KWNO)-Home sales in Winona County finished September up 12% compared to the same time last year.
That’s according to Winona County Recorder Bob Bambenek. He said the largest number of sales occurred in the $150,000 to $200,000 price range, a recent change from most sales occurring in homes valued between $100,000 and $150,000.
Bambenek called the shift an indicator that higher prices are being paid on homes. He said the number of sales is a positive sign for the county considering the limited number of homes that are on the market.
