Illegal Fireworks

With the Fourth of July quickly approaching. the Winona Fire Department is reminding residents that fireworks that explode in the air or are aerial are illegal in Minnesota.
While the fireworks are legal in Wisconsin and can be sold in Wisconsin, Minnesota state says  they are not legal in Minnesota for possession, sale, or use, except with a permit and certified operator.
The Fire Department also asks that you keep fireworks away from children and read and follow all directions  before use.
