KTTC.com reports the district is the first in Minnesota to get three science and technology programs certified by Project Lead the Way.
Project Lead the Way addresses the need for more leaders in science, technology, engineering and math.
The district has also partnered with scientists at Mayo Clinic to mentor students in biomedical and engineering programs.
The three certified programs include: Gateway to Technology, Pathway to Engineering and Biomedical Sciences.
