The Winona County Sheriff's Department says a 30 year old Altura man was injured when the vehicle he was driving collided with a milk truck that had gotten stuck in the snow.
Investigator Kraig Glover said Blake Lee Wells was southbound on County Road 33 south of Altura when his vehicle collided with the milk truck driven by Justin Lee Jackson of Zumbro Falls. Glover said the truck, owned by Todd Jackson Trucking, became stuck after trying to turn into a farm driveway.
Glover said Wells admitted being distracted as he was plugging in a cellphone. Wells was taken to Winona Health to be treated for his injuries. The crash was reported at 6:14 a.m. Tuesday.
