Momsen--MMAM

The Minnesota Marine Art Museum next week will present a Wisconsin teacher who was the winner of the educator-at-sea competition and had a chance to travel on the Exploration Vessel Nautilus.

Martin Momsen will be at the museum next Wednesday evening, August 29th, at 7:00 p.m. to talk about the boat's research under the ocean floor off the Santorini region of Greece.  Museum Executive Director Andy Maus told a Winona Radio audience the Nautilus is the same vessel captained by Robert Ballard that discovered the location of the Titanic.

The project explored the Kolumbo submarine volcano and the Chrstiana volcanic domes, among other regions.
