The Winona City Planning Commission will meet Monday and will consider approving a new site plan for a proposed 20-unit lodging and boarding establishment at 520 Center Street.
The commission has twice voted against a previous plan but Bluff City Properties has made several changes and addressed previous concerns including parking spaces for the facility, concerns about noise and light glare and drainage designs.
The new site plan lays out plans for the required 20 off-street parking spaces, which would be located at 53 Mark Street, as well as an additional 14 parking spaces to be located at the nearby Tom Severson property.
City staff is recommending approval with emphasis that required parking must be provided in the future.
The commission meets in Council Chambers at City Hall at 4:30 p.m. and the public is welcome to attend.
