The grant is part of the foundation's Digital Inclusion Community Partnership program designed to provide training for lower income residents currently not subscribing to broadband because they can't afford it or have other issues. It will give them access to computers and reduced cost internet connections.
The program partners include Hiawatha Broadband Communications, Winona Area Public Schools, and St. Charles Public Schools.
