Winona Radio has offered a 10-thousand dollar challenge grant to the Ready Set School program in Winona.
Winona Radio owner, Jerry Papenfuss, said 2010 will be a challenging year for all community service organizations.
From March First through April 15th, all donations to Ready Set School will be matched by Winona Radio...up to 10-thousand dollars. It's an opportunity to double your donation to help out Winona County students prepare for school.
Ready Set School works to ensure that all Winona County children in grades K-through-12 have the basic and necessary school supplies and clothing for school.
Last year Ready Set School helped 991 children with a 35-dollar voucher for school supplies.
