Red Cross Worker



 A Wabasha area American Red Cross volunteer has been deployed to New Brunswick, New Jersey, to help in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.
           
The storm, which devastated large portions of the Northeast two weeks ago, is likely to require the biggest Red Cross response in the U.S. in the past five years,

Judith Schotzko of Wabasha will provide assistance in health services. She will be available to meet disaster-caused emergency needs such as medications, medical equipment, treatment and health recovery information.

There are now 27 Southern MN Volunteers Deployed to Help with Hurricane Sandy, including Gayle Gorman and Carole Madland of Winona.
